New Music Concert!

This Thursday (tomorrow), from 7:30-9:00, Ensemble-in-Residence INTERFERENCE new music collective will present their fourth performance, Washington Landscape, in our ongoing series Connected: Music in the Museum. It will take place in the Katzen Art Museum, and will feature compositions and performances by some of our very own faculty! The program will start with a talk by Dr. Sean Doyle about the late Pierre Boulez, a French composer and conductor who recently passed, and will proceed with pieces written by William Brent,  Fernando Benadon, Steve Antosca, Jeffery Mumford and Frederick Weck! It will be both an acoustic and electronic music event with Nancy Snider on Cello, Noah Getz on Saxophone, William Brent on computer, John Pickford Richards on viola, Lina Bahn on violin, and Danfis on video and drums.

Concerts are free and open to the public so bring your friends! It will be a great concert filled with the music of top caliber musicians!
