Mowtown 1960s
Compact Disc 3137
I heard it through the grapevine that this Mowtown special features The Supremes, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Four Tops, and Gladys Knight & the Pips!  Listening to Mowtown in the morning is highly recommended if one wants to start the day off the right way; it’ll have you dancing in the street!

Arias for Male Soprano
Compact Disc 5125
The quintessential compact disc for anyone who enjoys listening to Mozart.  Michael Maniaci’s larynx did not develop which caused his voice not to “break” in the usual manner for most men.  He is considered to have a voice that is “300 years old” and unique among all of today’s modern countertenors.

Její pastorkyňa Jenůfa
Compact Disc 8234
Who doesn’t love a good Czech Opera?  The opera is based upon the play Její pastorkyňa by Gabriela Preissová. The plot revolves around lots of family deaths and who will inherit the family mill.  Wouldn’t you, as the eldest child, want to inherit the family mill?

Compact Disc 643

If listening to Mowtown in the mornings is not for you, then make the Celtic connection and give Irish Folk-songs a try!

This performance of Carmen features the world-renowned soloist Maria Callas.  Carmen is also notable for its memorable arias including Carmen’s L’amour est un oiseau rebelle and the Toreador’s aria Votre toast, je peux vous le rendre. This recording is great for both beginners and opera experts!
