On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me…

…a CD from the music library!

If you managed to keep the sing the tune while reading this title (despite the awkard rhythms squeezed together in “library”) then this is probably one of your favorite times of the year.

Ok, yes, finals are not that much fun. But just think – in 2 and a half weeks we will all be snuggled at home, decking the halls, drinking hot cocoa, petting our dog and cat, watching the snow and singing Christmas carols. Why not get in the mood now with some Christmas CDs from the music library?

In fact we have an entire CD by subject guide dedicated to Christmas music! And just for ease, I’ve selected a couple of my favorites from the pile:

  • Elvis’ Christmas Album (CD 1951)
  • A Jolly Christmas with Frank Sinatra (CD 5268)
  • Motown Christmas (CD 5059)
  • The Best of James Brown, Christmas Collection (CD 5063)

Even if you aren’t into Christmas and holiday carols – you should come by anyways. We’ll probably start having Christmas candy lying around pretty soon and you can always expect some new art project or coloring sheet at the music library!

So see you soon, and until then happy holidays and good luck with the end of the year!
