Music Online Database Trial

The American University Library is running a trial for the Music Online Database through April.

This is a very interesting database that acts a combined search engine for several databases concerning music online. So, searching a composer, or song may bring up scores from one of the online scores databases, research articles, references from Garland Encyclopedia of World Music, or media files.

When exploring this database understand that searching, at times, can be cumbersome, so breathe, and don’t give up – with a little more digging you will find what you are looking for!

The trial ends April 24th, and our music librarian, Nobue Matsuoka-Motley will be making a decision of purchasinge the database. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
